ANCIENT HISTORY

I have for some time been interested in Ancient History, the more ancient, the more interesting from my point of view.  The field covers a wide range of disciplines of which I am an arm chair observer. I've started with Biblical History, you may deduce from my writings that I am a Mormon or member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so I declare this up front, then you can judge for yourself.

Biblical History

This is a fascinating field of study a relevant to the worlds hundred's of millions of Christians.  There will be references to Scripture, which for me includes the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price.  You can make your own judgements of course.  Then there are the Non-Canonical works, too many to list here.
The Creation
The Longevity of The Patriarchs
The Flood of Noah

Pre-Sumerian Cultures

This cover the Archaeological Evidence of the agricultural societies that existed prior to the rise of Sumeria, which is the earliest "Civilisation" we have, in the Fertile Crescent, it is a shame that relations between the West (US and UK) and Iraq have meant a reduction in work in this area, but there is hope.

Sumerians
Egyptians
Book of Mormon Times (600BCE-421AD)
Jerusalem at the time of Zedekiah
Lehi's Exodus and others
The Land Bountiful
Pre-Columbian Americas
